Interesting tid-bits...
- Patrick is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He moved to small-town Pennsylvania when he was 14.
- Diana is also from NY, but not the city. She's from a small town called Jasper, which is home to one corner store, one stop light, and one high-school. They even have Amish people living nearby!
- Charlotte Rose is a result of our love for each other. She was born July 27, 2007 - exactly on her due date.
- Diana is a cat person and I am a dog person, so when it came time to pick a pet, we had to compromise... we have two cats :0)
The Digital Advantage...
Today, digital photography is the number 1 choice for wedding, event, and journalist photographers. The advantages are easy to see- speed, reliability, reproducibility, and accessibility. Digital technology is fast and gives immediate results. With film, we needed to wait for labs to process our images, only to find out that the technician on-site overly pushed an image and ruined a desired effect. Digital photography allows us to be more fluid during our photo session. There is no need to change rolls or to switch camera speeds. A push of a button can change a setting that would require a 5 minute stop with film. Medium to Large-format film may still be king with landscape photographers, but I would wager that those days are too coming to an end.
